Job Description
Blair Academy's department of performing arts has an immediate opening for a piano accompanist to play for the School's choirs throughout the academic year. The accompanist would be required to play piano - warm ups, vocal parts, and accompaniment - for regular weekly rehearsals, evening dress rehearsals in concert weeks, as well as at all performances throughout the year. Applicants should have extensive experience playing piano, as well as experience playing for a choir including playing warm ups and reading vocal parts from an open score. This position reports to the chair of the performing arts department and is paid on an hourly, non-exempt basis. Salary & other compensation: Base pay range $75-100 per hour. Salary dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to education and experience.
