This role is integral to enhancing the musical experience during services and special events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music, particularly in organ performance, and a heart for ministry. Must be able to back up preacher as the preaching starts during the message. Responsibilities Play keyboard during sunday worship services and special church events, ensuring a seamless musical experience. Collaborate with the worship leader and other musicians to select appropriate music that aligns with the service themes. Arrange and practice music pieces ahead of time to ensure high-quality performances. Provide accompaniment for vocalists and prreacher during sermon. Must be able to back up the preacher. Maintain the keyboard equipment, ensuring it is in good working order for all performances. Requirements Proficiency in playing the organ or piano with a strong understanding of various musical styles, especially those commonly used in church settings. Experience in a worship or church environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. A passion for worship and a commitment to contributing positively to the church community.
