Position will assist Andrea Scheibel in the Music Resource Center with: Poster design for convocations and concerts Social media posts on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Recording and live-streaming performances Ushering during convo/concerts Helping guest artists and other performers with necessary stage changes and lighting during performances Cataloging books and scores in the music library Helping to man the desk in the MRC (Room P242) Updating computers in the lab (Room P240) Being tour guides for our Music Student for a Day recruiting eventJob Requirements:
Must have a valid FAFSA on file Must have a financial need, as demonstrated by the FAFSA Must be matriculated into a program Attending at least half-time (6 credit hours) Maintain satisfactory progress (SAP) towards the completion of their program Current student in good standing at OCC Being a second-year OCC music student Basic proficiency with Mac computers Ability to learn new programs quickly (OBS, GIMP, Audacity, etc.) Works well with others Trustworthy Flexibility Communicative (if you can't make your hours that day or are sick) Time management skillsAdditional Information:
Pay Rate:
Starting rate of $16.00 for new Federal Work Studies. Starting rate of $17.00 for returningFederal Work Studies Hours of Operations:
Monday-Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm To see if you qualify for Federal Work Study (FWS)
Position:
Visits OCC's Work-Study Page Review the Work- Study Checklist & complete and submit the Work Study Interest Form Or visit the Financial Aid Service Center (FASC) located in Gordon Student Center open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm Federal Work Study may work up to 20 hours per week while classes are in session.
