Casting a series of six 100% virtual cold readings of "Solomon of Sixth Avenue," a play.
Tagline:
Greenwich Village, 1969. The hectic final months in the life of a gay cabaret bar owned by a bipolar, bisexual middle-aged queen. Age and general appearance of the actors will not be taken into consideration. It does not matter what you look like, only what you sound like, and how well you can act.
Productions states:
"Everyone in the cast will have their cameras off during the performances so that: 1. I can focus solely on the expressions of the audience members, who will be strongly encouraged to have their cameras on and; 2. I can see how well this play would work as a concept album with recorded dialogue, recorded music, and no visuals. This version will not have any of the songs. The audience members will be invited to give live feedback on the script after the last scene. They won't necessarily be evaluating your acting, but your acting will be a very important tool to service the script."
