Job Description
Kennett High School is seeking a charismatic and dedicated individual to join our Marching Band as a Co-Assistant Director. We are looking for a student-centered educator who is passionate about music and eager to contribute to the success of our band program.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with the brass section to enhance musical and marching performance.
Assist in teaching and refining marching techniques, with an emphasis on visual coordination.
Collaborate with the Band Director and other staff members to create a positive and supportive environment for all students.
Be available for long Saturdays throughout September and October, as well as Band Camp in August.
Qualifications:
Degree in Music Education is preferred.
Proficiency in reading marching band coordinate charts is a must.
Experience as a marching visual technician is preferred.
