Job Description
Our church is seeking a part-time Children's Music Leader to lead and encourage our children through meaningful, age-appropriate music. Responsibilities Select and lead age-appropriate music for children and/or youth, as applicable. Direct rehearsals and performances. Help create a welcoming, joyful, and encouraging environment for participants of all ages. Coordinate music selections with church leadership and the worship schedule. Direct the church's Annual Christmas musical and biennial Easter program , including rehearsals and the final performance. Encourage participation and help singers develop confidence and musical skills. Qualifications Experience directing or leading a church choir, school choir, or similar musical group preferred. Strong musical and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with children, youth, and adults. Commitment to supporting the mission and values of our church.
