Part-time Position Description:

First Cumberland Presbyterian Church is seeking a skilled and dependable Organist to provide music for worship services and special occasions. The Organist will support congregational singing and work collaboratively with the pastor and church leadership to enhance worship through music.

Responsibilities:

Play organ for worship services, including hymns, preludes, postludes, and offertories. Coordinate with the pastor or worship leader on music selections Accompany special services as needed (e.g., Christmas, Easter, funerals, weddings) Attend rehearsals or planning meetings when required Demonstrate care and respect for the church's organ and musical resources

Qualifications:

Proficiency in organ performance and ability to read music Experience in a church or worship setting preferred but not required Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Compensation:

Compensation is negotiable and based on experience. Starting at $100 per week, approximately 3 hours per week.

Schedule:
