Casting "Tall Tales," an ensemble piece following three best friends on the run from the law as they spend one final night together on the journey to Mexico. Equal parts Coming-of-Age Drama, Western Thriller, and Absurdist Comedy.

Synopsis:

The film follows Jim, a heartbroken cowboy, who kickstarts the events of the film by cutting off his ankle monitor. Sebastian, a party animal stricken with paranoia, after an accident in the night begins to haunts him. And Antony, the stalwart leader and younger brother of the group, struggles to communicate his fears to the group. As their individual stories begin to collide, the heart, chaos, and longing of Texas storytelling shine through. "Tall Tales" is a project put together and managed by current and former UT Austin Film students.
