In this vital role, you will support the seamless execution of live performances and stage productions by assisting with set changes, equipment setup, and technical operations. Your enthusiasm for the performing arts and strong teamwork skills will help create captivating experiences for audiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of theatrical magic, working behind the scenes to bring creative visions to life. Responsibilities Assist with setting up and breaking down stage scenery, props, and theatrical equipment for rehearsals and performances Operate video systems, theatrical lighting equipment, and audio systems to ensure optimal technical execution during live events Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper safety procedures and managing theatrical equipment responsibly Contribute to theatrical production teams by communicating effectively and supporting team coordination Requirements Experience in performing arts is highly desirable Knowledge of theatrical lighting, sound equipment, projection systems, and stage rigging techniques Proven ability to operate AV equipment during live performances or events Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members Excellent physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy equipment throughout long shifts Prior theater experience or background in stage productions is preferred Join us as a Stagehand and become an integral part of creating unforgettable theatrical experiences!
