Personal Care Assistant

Here's your duties as a PCA 1. Personal Care Support Assists with bathing, grooming, and hygiene Helps with dressing and toileting Provides mobility assistance (transfers, walking support) 2. Daily Living Activities Prepares meals and assists with eating if needed Performs light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying) Helps with errands such as groceries or picking up medication 3. Health-Related Tasks (as allowed by state law) Monitors vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse) Assists with medication reminders (not usually administration unless certified) Observes and reports changes in the client's condition to family or a supervisor 4. Emotional and Social Support Offers companionship Encourages social engagement or simple recreational activities Provides reassurance and support, especially for clients with cognitive challenges 5. Safety and Supervision Ensures the individual's living environment is safe Helps prevent falls or accidents Supports clients who may wander or become confused

Job Types:
