Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant - Bilingual Spanish

We are seeking a Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant to join our fast-growing personal injury law firm. The salary range is $55,000-$70,000 , depending on experience. Our benefits package includes 50% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance , a 4% 401(k) match , and 18 days of paid time off . The ideal candidate will have pre-litigation experience in personal injury matters , be familiar with New Jersey law and procedures , and be bilingual in Spanish . Candidates should also be comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 120-125 litigation files in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in all aspects of pre-litigation personal injury cases Manage client communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including demand letters and medical records Coordinate medical treatment, gather medical records, and follow up with clients Maintain and update case files and case management systems Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings Support the legal team with administrative tasks and case preparation

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a legal assistant in personal injury or pre-litigation preferred Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
