Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history reviews to inform individualized care plans Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform suturing with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of results Requirements Valid nursing license (RN) in good standing with relevant state licensing boards Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding is a plus Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support accurate patient assessment and treatment planning Hands-on experience with IV insertion, catheterization (including Foley and other urinary catheters), phlebotomy, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as urgent care or outpatient clinics; experience in medical-surgical or hospital medicine is highly valued Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education—including health coaching—and interdisciplinary collaboration Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety standards are maintained Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred but not required Join us to deliver exceptional nursing care that transforms lives!
