Our medication system combines a full-service pharmacy and smart pill dispenser. Take the hassle out of managing your medications. Let MedMinder handle everything from organizing and delivering your prescriptions to coordinating with your doctors and insurance providers- all without paying more than your co-pay. Live healthier and more independently with MedMinder. This is a full-time position working onsite at our headquarters in Norwood. The schedule for this role is as follows: 8-hour shift, Rotating weekly shifts: 6:30am-2:30pm & 2:30pm-10:30pm Rotating Weekends
POSITION SUMMARY
As MedMinder continues our high growth, we are seeking a skilled Pharmacist that wants to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment. Become part of our team of Pharmacists assisting patients by focusing on efficient quality medication packaging. We are a unique combination of long-term care and mail-order pharmacy models. We offer a supportive team environment with appropriate staffing resources. You'll have limited interruptions to your workflow thanks to our pharmacy call center so you can focus on delivering optimal patient care. Responsibilities Collaborate with providers and care partners to optimize medication therapy Seamlessly transition new patients to our services to meet their healthcare and medication needs Provide support working directly with patients and their caregivers through various platforms Ensure accuracy of prescriptions and reducing polypharmacy Counsel patients and caregivers on their medications to maximize patient outcomes As you develop, gain functionality within fulfillment, intake and medication reconciliation Train, coach, develop and mentor staff members as needed
Job Requirements:
Certified Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree and active Pharmacist state licensure for the appropriate state of employment Experience or internship experience in a retail or fulfillment pharmacy Must be compassionate, courteous and have excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work a flexible schedule maintaining availability during the day, evening and weekend as needed Detail oriented and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency with CRM, and a desire to learn proprietary software applications Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions Responsible for continuing education credits necessary to maintaining licensure Diversity & Inclusion At MedMinder, we celebrate the fact that our customers and end users have diverse backgrounds and lived experiences - so we seek to listen to, to understand, to embrace and to represent difference.
