Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time night shift pharmacist position is available to begin on Monday night, 5/11, in Huntington Park, CA. This role is critical due to an emergency situation involving a Pyxis crisis and a mandate from CDPH requiring a pharmacist presence overnight. The assignment is expected to last at least eight weeks.

Schedule/Hours:

Full-time night shift Typically Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Some schedule flexibility available

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Oversee and support pharmacy technicians during the shift Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to provide expert pharmacy consultation Manage pharmacokinetics responsibilities and ensure safe medication use Maintain compliance with all regulatory mandates related to the Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist with current and valid credentials Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing system preferred Comfort working independently during night hours New graduates and retail pharmacists are welcome to apply, provided they meet Soliant compliance requirements to facilitate quick start

Facility Details:

100 licensed beds Average daily census of approximately 50 patients Specialty in managing automated dispensing cabinets This contract role offers the opportunity to gain valuable hospital pharmacy experience in a supportive environment with a flexible schedule. Compensation will be competitive and aligned with the candidate's qualifications.
