Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An experienced Clinical Pharmacist is sought to support inpatient pharmacy services in a healthcare facility offering a mix of day and evening shifts. This 13-week contract begins early June, providing the opportunity to contribute clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital setting.

Location:

Evanston, IL (assignment based in Madison, WI)

Contract Duration:

13 weeks, starting 6/8

Schedule:

5 shifts per week, 8 hours each Rotating shifts: Days (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and Evenings (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) Rotation includes every 3rd weekend

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive inpatient pharmacy care with emphasis on pharmacokinetic and renal dosing Monitor therapeutic medication levels and manage drug shortages effectively Provide pharmacotherapy management for various medical conditions Utilize

EPIC EMR

system for medication order verification, documentation, and communication Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience Proficiency in pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, and therapeutic drug monitoring Ability to manage drug shortages and apply pharmacotherapy principles for complex medical problems Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license or ACT-10 license

Important Compliance Note:

Traveling pharmacists must be clean-shaven for facial mask fit testing; the use of personal CAPRs or PAPRs is prohibited. Failure to pass fit testing due to facial hair will result in assignment cancellation.
