Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert medication management, patient care, and clinical support within a dynamic hospital environment. Your expertise will ensure safe, effective medication use, contribute to patient recovery, and support multidisciplinary teams in delivering exceptional healthcare services. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper dosage, administration routes, and patient-specific considerations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate medication needs, potential drug interactions, and contraindications. Provide expert consultation on medication therapy management, including pain management and acute care protocols. Monitor patient responses to therapies, adjusting medications as necessary to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and staff on medication usage, side effects, and safety precautions to enhance patient service and care quality. Requirements Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven expertise in managed care settings and Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology principles related to hospital medicine. Demonstrated skills in acute pain management, emergency room procedures, and post-residency clinical pharmacy practice. Experience with medication administration protocols, aseptic techniques, and IV infusion preparation. Ability to perform patient assessment accurately within fast-paced hospital settings while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
