Location:

Franklin, TN (pharmacy operations based in LaVergne, TN)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM 40 hours per week Immediate start

Contract Details:

13-week contract with potential to convert to full-time employment

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing Conduct final verification of prescriptions, confirming the correct medication is packaged correctly Verify prescription directions and details against hard copy documentation Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system to manage prescription processing Contribute to maintaining a high standard of patient safety and compliance No on-call duties required

Desired Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in good standing Experience with mail order or specialty pharmacy settings preferred Proficiency with pharmacy order entry systems, ideally Wellsky Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment handling up to approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily Excellent communication and verification skills This role is ideal for pharmacists interested in a contract position with a reputable renal specialty pharmacy, offering consistent weekday shifts without on-call obligations.
