Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Naperville, IL is seeking a Night Pharmacist with pediatric experience for a contract assignment starting ASAP. This position offers a 7-on, 7-off night schedule, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role is expected to last 13 weeks or longer.

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely during night shifts Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation Collaborate with healthcare providers in a hospital setting to ensure optimal patient care Apply expertise in pediatric pharmacology, including weight-based dosing, especially for pediatric patients Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Pharmacist license required Strong hospital pharmacy experience preferred Experience and comfort handling pediatric patients and dosing calculations Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell systems is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule:

Night shifts: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM 7 days on, 7 days off rotation This contract opportunity gives a pharmacist the chance to work in a specialized pediatric hospital setting providing critical overnight care.
