Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract This opportunity calls for an experienced pharmacist to serve retail and outpatient pharmacy needs in the Klamath Falls area. The role involves providing essential services across several local pharmacy locations within a few miles of each other, delivering quality pharmaceutical care and supporting pharmacy technicians.
Location:
Klamath Falls, OR (pharmacist will float among multiple retail sites within a 5-mile radius)
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week Monday to
Friday:
7:45 AM - 7:15
PM Saturdays:
8:00 AM - 5:15 PM Includes some Saturday work
Duration:
13-week contract assignment, available for immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians ensuring smooth workflow Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and safety standards Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid Oregon pharmacist license required Minimum 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy environment Ability to work full-time schedule as outlined Strong communication skills and patient-focused attitude Experience with pharmacy technology and prescription management systems This contract pharmacist position is ideal for those seeking to apply their clinical skills in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting while experiencing a flexible work schedule.
