The role offers a contract position with a flexible assignment duration, ideal for candidates available for 13 weeks or longer, with shorter contracts also considered. This position requires a reliable professional who can navigate primary and secondary retail locations, including occasional weekend shifts at the secondary site.

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday:

9:00 AM - 6:00

PM Wednesday, Friday:

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Closed on weekends and six major holidays at the primary location Occasional weekend coverage at the secondary location may be required

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare, review, and dispense medication orders in full compliance with protocols Maintain and update patient medication profiles with precision Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians, verifying daily activities and workflow Participate in medical emergency responses as part of the pharmacy team Conduct medication storage area inspections, identifying and removing outdated stock Orient and train new staff members to ensure consistent pharmacy standards

Required Qualifications:

Active New Mexico pharmacist license in good standing or the ability to obtain prior to start Disclosure and verification of all active and inactive licenses Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience preferred APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days Availability and willingness to cover shifts at a secondary retail location, including weekends

Ideal Candidate:
