Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee and elevate pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail environment with an opportunity to serve as a Pharmacy Manager at a well-established store location in Mifflinburg, PA. This full-time, direct hire role offers a leadership position where you will drive pharmacy growth, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the store operations team to align business strategies and engage pharmacy associates. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality checks. Manage inventory efficiently by monitoring sales trends and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand. Lead clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to support script growth. Supervise and develop pharmacists and pharmacy staff through training, coaching, and performance management. Uphold pharmacy security and maintain a clean, organized department. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints to foster customer loyalty. Interface with physicians and use reference materials to address prescription-related issues. Prioritize tasks such as cycle counts, inventory control, and customer will-calls to ensure operational efficiency. Align department goals with seven key performance metrics to drive effective management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License Current Pennsylvania Immunization License Schedule:
62 hours bi-weekly with variable shifts including 9am-7pm (10 hours), 9am-8pm (11 hours), and extended 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm or 9am-9pm) This leadership role is ideal for a pharmacy professional ready to make an immediate impact by advancing pharmacy services and operational excellence. to contribute your expertise and drive success in this rewarding retail pharmacy management position.
