Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A leading retail pharmacy seeks a full-time Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations at a busy location in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic leadership role managing pharmacy services, ensuring compliance, and driving business growth within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and engage pharmacy associates while collaborating with store operations to align department goals with company strategy. Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance for all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance protocols. Manage inventory control, order pharmaceutical stock, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to increase script growth. Monitor and achieve performance objectives based on key pharmacy metrics. Provide excellent patient care by addressing medical queries and counseling customers. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff including training, coaching, and discipline. Maintain pharmacy security, cleanliness, and organization. Resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty. Establish communication with physicians and use reference materials for prescription problem-solving. Oversee department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call follow-ups in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current Pennsylvania pharmacist license. Current Pennsylvania immunization license. Strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in retail pharmacy management preferred.
Schedule:
Approximately 62 hours bi-weekly with variable shifts. Typical 10-hour shifts: 9 AM - 7 PM. Typical 11-hour shifts: 9 AM - 8 PM. 12-hour shifts: 8 AM - 8 PM or 9 AM - 9 PM.
