This role is critical in supporting pharmacy operations with an emphasis on sterile compounding and infusion preparations, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare sterile compounded medications following established protocols. Rotate between pharmacy prep tasks and mixing in the cleanroom environment. Participate in an on-call rotation approximately once every eight weeks, covering from the end of the Saturday shift until 8 AM Monday. Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines while performing sterile compounding. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and ensure timely medication preparation.

Qualifications:

Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License. Sterile Compounding Certification required. PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification. Minimum of 2 years' experience in sterile compounding. Proven infusion experience is essential.
