Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire Seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient hospital pharmacy operations with a focus on accurate medication dispensing and sterile compounding. This contract-to-hire opportunity in Milan, OH offers a structured 7 on/7 off schedule working nights from 9 PM to 7 AM, typically Thursday through Thursday, for a 13-week assignment with the potential for permanent placement.
Responsibilities include:
Accurately entering medication orders using Meditech system Managing medication inventory and dispensing through Pyxis automation Preparing sterile compounded medications in compliance with protocols Collaborating closely with pharmacy staff and clinical teams to ensure safe patient medication management Maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Qualifications and experience required: Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) Proven inpatient pharmacy experience Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques Familiarity and hands-on experience with Pyxis automation systems This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment where technical skills and attention to detail directly contribute to patient care.
