Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A hospital pharmacy technician position is available for a 13-week inpatient assignment in Richland Center, WI. This role requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule with weekday and weekend shifts, providing essential support in medication management and sterile product preparation.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, either 8 or 10-hour shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM Every 4th weekend rotation with shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM on weekends Key responsibilities include: Restocking Pyxis machines and checking for outdated medications Restocking medications, IVs, and supplies within the hospital pharmacy Entering charges accurately and handling ordering and receiving of drug shipments Monitoring storage temperatures to ensure medication safety Preparing sterile products and performing daily cleanroom maintenance Preparing chemotherapy treatments and supporting other assigned pharmacy tasks
Qualifications:
Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or ability to obtain promptly Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment Knowledge of sterile product preparation and inventory management procedures This role offers an opportunity to apply your pharmacy technician skills in a critical hospital setting, contributing to patient care through accurate and timely medication support.
