Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A hospital outpatient pharmacy is opening soon in Richland Center, WI, and is seeking a Retail Pharmacist to assist with the setup and ongoing operations. The pharmacy is currently under construction and scheduled to open in August. There is a need for immediate support during the build-out phase, transitioning to full staffing once open. This role offers an opportunity to engage in both the preparation and active management of the pharmacy. Initially, you will be responsible for helping with the setup and build-out of the facility. After opening, duties will include serving as the pharmacist-in-charge (PIC) and handling staffing responsibilities, often as the sole pharmacist on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and build-out phases of the new outpatient pharmacy Manage daily operations as pharmacist-in-charge once the pharmacy opens Oversee medication dispensing and patient safety protocols for outpatient services Support staffing and workflow management during initial opening periodDesired Experience and Qualifications:
Active Wisconsin pharmacist license is required Retail pharmacy experience preferred to navigate outpatient medication needs effectively Comfortable working independently as a sole pharmacist in the initial stages Flexibility to work Monday through Friday day shiftsAdditional Details:
