Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Direct Hire An established infusion site is seeking a skilled IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding operations. This direct hire opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional Saturdays as needed, providing a great balance for professionals committed to high standards in medication preparation and patient safety.
Location:
Duluth, GA Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturdays as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Perform sterile compounding of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, adhering strictly to USP 797 guidelines Maintain quality assurance processes to meet departmental and legal standards Complete sterile compounding practical certification every six months to ensure compliance Clean sterile compounding environments and primary engineering controls daily, following USP 797 standards Train new pharmacy technicians as needed Engage in clinical initiatives aimed at improving patient care outcomes Carry out additional sterile compounding and pharmacy technician duties as assigned Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician license National Pharmacy Technician Certification highly preferred Strong knowledge of sterile compounding standards and aseptic techniques Experience working with CareTend system is a plus Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety This role is ideal for technicians seeking a stable position in IV/Infusion pharmacy with opportunities to contribute to clinical quality improvement.
