Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A critical role is available for a Retail Pharmacist to support a newly established hospital outpatient pharmacy scheduled to open in August in the Richland Center area. This contract opportunity offers immediate start to assist with the pharmacy's preparation, build-out, and initial operations. The pharmacy will initially operate with a single pharmacist, so strong self-management and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the setup and build-out of the outpatient pharmacy prior to opening Serving as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) once operational, managing day-to-day pharmacy functions Overseeing staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards Dispensing medications accurately and counseling patients as needed Collaborating with healthcare providers to support patient care

Qualifications/Experience:

Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license required Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred Ability to work independently and take initiative in a start-up environment Strong organizational and communication skills

Location & Schedule:

Position based in the La Farge / Richland Center, WI area Monday through Friday, day shifts This role is a contract to hire, with the pharmacy managed by a major healthcare services provider; upon permanent conversion, employment would be through their payroll.
