Type:

Six-month contract, opportunity for extension or full-time offer

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Pay:

$22.30 to $24.30 an hour Responsibilities of the

Phlebotomist:

• Performing venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Expected to collect blood from patients using both venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Process and prepare specimens for testing and transport, troubleshoot any issues related to specimen collection, and provide proper patient instructions for various collection methods, such as urine collection.
• Responsible for instructing patients on post-phlebotomy care, properly disposing of hazardous and sharp materials, and obtaining specimens for microbiology testing.

Qualifications for the

Phlebotomist:

• High School Graduate or GED
• One year of phlebotomy experience

Pay Details:
