Phlebotomist Brigham & Women's Physicians Organization $17.71

Summary:
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 15 Corporate Park Drive in Pembroke, MA. Our Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and are responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing.Essential Functions:
- Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
- Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
- Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handles sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Works fluently with computer programs and systems, and complies with HIPAA regulations.
- Performs other test administration and specimen collection as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Completion of a phlebotomy course preferred At Mass General Brigham, our employees are our most important resource.
