Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Manual & Sports Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing Sag Harbor team. We are a hands-on, patient-centered practice with a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, movement-based care, and individualized treatment. As our practice continues expanding into a broader wellness and multidisciplinary model, we are looking for someone who is adaptable, grounded, team-oriented, and genuinely invested in helping people improve their quality of life. We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates depending on experience, availability, and overall fit. This position is primarily based in our Sag Harbor office, with the possibility of occasional coverage in Southampton if mutually agreed upon. Position Details Part-time or full-time opportunity Expected hours: 16-40 per week Flexible scheduling depending on candidate availability and clinic needs Opportunity for long-term growth within an expanding practice Responsibilities Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercise programs and functional activities Assist with manual therapy-based treatment approaches as directed Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical observations to the supervising PT Maintain accurate and timely documentation Support a positive, organized, and professional treatment environment Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure excellent patient experience and continuity of care Qualifications Active New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license required Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative team Comfortable working in a dynamic, growing practice environment Interest in wellness, movement, fitness, or multidisciplinary care is a plus Compensation & Benefits $35-$48 per hour, based on experience Flexible scheduling Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity for long-term growth within an expanding practice Manual & Sports Physical Therapy is committed to creating an environment where both patients and staff feel supported, respected, and valued.
