Physical Therapist in Atascadero, CA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Responsibilities:

Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate patients focusing on improving mobility, function, and strength Maintain clear, accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care Communicate effectively with physicians, co-workers, and front office staff to ensure quality patient services Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and company privacy policies rigorously Participate in business marketing and referral processes when needed Perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds and providing patient mobility assistance

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Degree in Physical Therapy Current or soon-to-be acquired Physical Therapist license in California Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions Proficient with computer skills (typing, Word, Internet, EMR) Familiarity with Medicare, work-comp, private billing, and coding (DX, ICD-10) Continuing education courses preferred
