Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A full-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available to support K-12 students throughout the school year by delivering vital physical therapy services. In this contract role, you'll have a direct impact on enhancing student mobility, strength, and independence, all while collaborating within a dynamic and caring educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
Performing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and developing individualized intervention plans for students. Providing both direct and consultative services tailored to improve functional outcomes. Partnering with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to weave therapeutic objectives into educational goals. Tracking, documenting, and assessing student progress, and adjusting therapies to ensure positive development.
Desired qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license or eligibility in progress. Previous experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for close interaction with students, caregivers, and school staff. This position offers compensation ranging from $53 to $65 per hour, commensurate with your experience, especially if you have IEP expertise. Qualified candidates may also access healthcare benefits, as well as options for housing and meals/incidentals for eligible travelers.
