Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup. Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises under the supervision of licensed therapists. Monitor patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions, providing support as needed. Manage patient intake processes, including documentation of medical history and current condition details. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment activities in compliance with healthcare standards. Support therapists with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and organizing therapy materials. Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures at all times. Qualifications Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings is preferred, especially in inpatient or outpatient environments. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and acute care practices is highly desirable. Demonstrated commitment to patient service and compassionate patient care. Familiarity with post-acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care settings is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients alike. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
