Job Description

Job Overview Join our healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Aide combined with Reception duties! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face welcoming patients and supporting their journey toward recovery. You will assist our Doctor of Chiropractic by preparing treatment areas, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth office operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in outpatient post-acute care settings while developing your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify appointments, and assist with intake procedures to ensure efficient patient flow Prepare treatment areas by setting up equipment and ensuring cleanliness in accordance with safety standards Support doctor during therapy sessions by providing assistance with physio modalities and patient exercises. Manage reception duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and updating patient records accurately Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to infection control protocols Assist with administrative tasks such as insurance documentation and patient follow-up communications Collaborate with doctor to deliver exceptional patient service focused on comfort, safety, and care quality. Qualifications Strong commitment to patient service and patient care excellence Basic understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology; prior clinical experience in physical therapy or chiropractic setting preferred Experience working in inpatient settings, especially in orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care environments Knowledge of acute care practices and post-acute care processes is a plus Experience demonstrating professionalism and teamwork skills Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Prefer someone local to North Orange County with reliable transportation Days and Hours These are the only days and hours available now. More hours may be available in the future, but it will be the same days. Our office is only open 3 days per week. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8:50 am to 12:50 pm
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
