Physical Therapy Assistant

Upward Rehabilitation is an at-home outpatient physical therapy company headquartered in Mechanicsburg PA. We're a small business that is seeking to expand locally. Upward Rehabilitation provides services to Medicare B beneficiaries, and accepts other insurance carriers (Aetna, Highmark, UHC etc.) Clinicians will render 1:1 treatment to patients in the comfort of their own home. Compensation for this position will be predicated on units of service rendered. My goal is for compensation to be fair, as we have less overhead than larger companies. This position is very flexible

Alternative forms of compensation can be available depending on administrative tasks you are able to accept (i.e. marketing); If your patient-care schedule is low, supplement your income with non-patient care tasks. • Implement treatment plans developed by the physical therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
• Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs
• Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation,
• Maintain accurate patient records Requirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience or interest in geriatric physical therapy, orthopedic physical therapy and neurological physical therapy.
• Ability to work effectively in a home setting.
