Job Description We are seeking a dedicated part-time Physical Therapy Technician to join our healthcare team in the Joppa area. In this role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support therapeutic treatments. Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment Apply hot and cold therapy treatments under therapist supervision Welcome and guide patients through their appointment process Schedule and manage patient appointments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment Handle basic administrative tasks including phone calls and patient documentation Monitor and report patient progress to physical therapists Ensure proper setup and breakdown of therapy equipment Assist patients with mobility and exercise routines as directed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment Proficiency in basic computer systems for scheduling and documentation Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and safety protocols Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong organizational and time management skills Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate approach to patient care Basic understanding of physical therapy procedures and terminology Evening hours needed. Flexible schedule a plus
Additional Information Employment Type:
Part-Time The anticipated base salary range for this position is $15 -$16 hourly. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
