About us Spine and sports rehabilitation: Pain Management in Islandia is an established practice for almost a decade with thousands of patients treated for numerous spine, sports and muculoskeletal pain management care. Working with a Medical Doctor

• Physiatrist, a Physical Therapist, a chiropractor, massage therapist, and orthopedist, you will assist in the musculoskeletal care of approximately 10-20 patients per day.

The Physician Assistant will be performing musculoskeletal assesment, ordering MRIs, performing trigger point and joint injections. We do not prescribe opiod medications in our office. The team of providers and support staff at Spine and Sports are friendly,fun, energetic and professional. The office is new, sleek, modern and large.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care under the supervision of a physician
• Conduct physical examinations and take detailed patient histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely

Skills:

• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in various medical and orthopedic management.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to make sound clinical judgments and decisions
• Proficient in medical documentation practices
