We are actively seeking a qualified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in a welcoming area of Texas near Temple. Position Type:

Locum Tenens (Temporary, ongoing)

Start Date:

As soon as possible

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with half-day Saturday shifts required No call requirements

Setting:

Inpatient, sub-acute rehabilitation facility with a supportive and collaborative care environment

Job Highlights Patient Volume:

Average of 20 patients per day

Support Team:

PM&R and Internal Medicine coverage, including PT and PMR providers 7 days a week

Call and Procedures:

No on-call duties and no procedures required

Skills and Responsibilities Specialty Focus:

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a focus on: Pain management (chronic and acute) without injections Joint, trigger point, and epidural blocks preferred (no fluoroscopic guidance required) Diagnostics including EMG and nerve conduction studies Wound debridement and arthrocentesis Stress reduction and relaxation techniques for holistic patient care

Certifications Required:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS)

Credentialing Timeline:

Approximately 45-60 days, expedited for providers with a clear record
