PI Cutting Clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PI Cutting Clerk to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee the precise cutting of pattern pieces (PI) for garment production, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. Your mechanical knowledge, sewing machine skills, and understanding of garment construction will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards. Duties Prepare and organize pattern pieces for cutting based on production orders and specifications Operate cutting machinery with precision, ensuring accurate and clean cuts aligned with design patterns Review technical drawings and drafting instructions to interpret fabric layouts and cutting plans Maintain and calibrate sewing machines and cutting equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve cutting processes Inspect cut fabric pieces for quality control, identifying defects or inconsistencies early in the process Document all cutting activities accurately, including measurements, adjustments, and machine maintenance logs Qualifications Proven experience in machining, drafting, or garment construction within a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate sewing machines and cutting equipment effectively Familiarity with sewing techniques and garment assembly processes Ability to read technical drawings and interpret pattern instructions precisely Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate cuts and quality standards are met Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Prior experience with sewing machines and related tools is highly desirable Join us as a PI Cutting Clerk and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to producing high-quality garments through precision craftsmanship.
