Paradise Unified School District is looking for a dedicated, student-centered Resource Specialist Program Teacher to join the team at Pine Ridge Elementary School for the 2026/27 school year. At Pine Ridge, we believe every child deserves to feel supported, capable, and connected. Our RSP Teacher plays a vital role in helping students with diverse learning needs succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. This position is ideal for an educator who loves collaboration, creative problem-solving, and making a meaningful difference one student at a time. About the Role The RSP Teacher provides specialized academic instruction and support to students with identified learning needs. This position works closely with general education teachers, families, service providers, and site leadership to ensure students receive the services, accommodations, and encouragement they need to thrive. The ideal candidate is someone who can build strong relationships with students, communicate effectively with families and staff, and help create a learning environment where students feel valued, capable, and successful. What You'll Do In this role, you will: Provide specialized academic instruction aligned with students' IEP goals. Support students in accessing grade-level curriculum through appropriate accommodations and instructional strategies. Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive practices and student success. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs. Conduct assessments, track progress, and use data to guide instruction. Communicate regularly with families, staff, and service providers. Participate as an active member of the school's student support and special education team. Help students build confidence, independence, and self-advocacy skills. Why Pine Ridge? Requirements /
