Plant Accounting Manager

Plant Accounting Manager Location:

Tifton, GA Comp:

$75K-$85K base + bonus (quarterly + annual; tied to plant performance) We're partnering with a PE-backed, fast-growing multi-site manufacturer/wholesaler that's expanding through acquisition and investing in plant operations. This is a hands-on plant accounting leadership role with 1-2 direct reports and close partnership with the Plant GM and a Regional Controller. What you'll own (hands-on): Plant-level accounting & operational finance support (high volume invoicing/AR, collections follow-up, customer billing issues) Payroll processing/coordination + related compliance items (tax filings, W-2 support, etc.) Cash, deposits, banking activity, reconciliations, and month-end tie-outs (AR/AP to GL, bank recs) Support inventory-related activity and general plant admin priorities as needed Light HR admin oversight tied to onboarding/benefits coordination (plant-level)

Must-haves:

Solid accounting foundation with P&L exposure (manufacturing is strongly preferred) Comfort in a fully on-site plant environment (operational, sleeves-rolled-up) Some supervisory experience (even small-team leadership counts) ERP experience (Sage 100 is a plus, but not required; multi-ERP exposure is great) Why it's attractive: Strong work-life balance with consistent plant hours Growing organization with momentum (acquisition-driven platform) Bonus upside tied to plant performance Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
