• New Germany, MN Wilson's Nursery is seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join our growing team in a hands-on plant maintenance role.

This position involves caring for nursery inventory across a wide variety of plant material including perennials, shrubs, and trees. This is an active, outdoor position suited for someone who enjoys physical work, working with plants, and being part of a fast-paced agricultural operation.

Responsibilities Include:

Watering and monitoring plant health Weeding and general nursery cleanup Spacing, moving, and organizing plant material Pruning, trimming, and deadheading plants Assisting with loading, unloading, and inventory movement Supporting growers and production staff with daily tasks Maintaining clean and organized work areas Identifying and reporting plant health concerns

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods, and bend, squat, and kneel. Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor settings, including production and warehouse areas, and may involve exposure to extreme temperatures and normal field conditions. Employees may be exposed to pollen, ragweed, goldenrod, insects, and harmful plants. Employees may work around plants/fields treated with pesticides or chemical sprays.

Qualifications:

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stay physically active throughout the day Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Agricultural, landscaping, greenhouse, or nursery experience is helpful but not required
