Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant performance, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize supply chain processes, and foster a culture of operational excellence. Duties Lead and manage daily plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency. Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet rigorous standards and comply with industry regulations. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP to monitor inventory levels, production data, and supply chain analytics for informed decision-making. Coordinate supply chain management activities, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management, to optimize flow and reduce costs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing effective solutions. Manage plant safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations, fostering a safe work environment for all employees. Supervise maintenance activities with mechanical knowledge to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on manufacturing strategies, process improvements, and new product launches. Develop staffing plans, oversee training programs, and promote a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence. Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to assembly operations. Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems (such as MRP modules) for production planning and supply chain management. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement techniques. Solid understanding of quality control standards and manufacturing best practices. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in equipment maintenance or process optimization is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage change effectively, and foster collaboration across departments. Experience analyzing supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and implementing safety protocols in a manufacturing setting. $56,887.15 - $100,000.00 per year
