Job Title:
Plumber Job Description A Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing high-quality repairs, and ensuring all work meets local plumbing codes and safety standards. The ideal candidate is skilled, reliable, and able to communicate clearly with customers and team members. Will go permanent after 520 hours and will be working in a hospital environment. Will be working from M-F ( 7am-4pm) PAY $30-36 an hour Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, drainage systems, and water supply lines. Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective repair solutions. Install and service water heaters, toilets, sinks, faucets, and other fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans. Perform leak detection, pressure testing, and system inspections. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment. Collaborate with contractors, inspectors, and other trades as needed. Essential Skills Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. Experience with pipe installation, soldering, and fixture repair. Understanding of building codes and safety regulations. Valid plumbing license (as required by state or local regulations). Additional Skills & Qualifications Good communication skills. Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in tight spaces. Preferred experience as an Apprentice close to a Journeyman/Journeyman. Experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing. Knowledge of gas lines, backflow systems, or water treatment systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
