Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Service Plumber / Plumbing Mechanic to join our team. This position is primarily service-based, with some new construction and installation work as needed. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both occupied homes and active construction environments. Role Breakdown Experienced Plumbing Service Technician Perform maintenance and repair of residential and light commercial plumbing systems Complete home winterizations, seasonal openings, and general service work Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs Work closely with dispatch/office staff to manage scheduling and job flow Interact professionally and comfortably with customers in their homes Experienced Plumbing Installation Mechanic Work on newly constructed and renovated homes Perform rough and finish work to a high standard Work independently as a Lead Mechanic or under the direction of a Lead Installation Mechanic Troubleshoot plumbing systems accurately and efficiently Maintain clean, organized work areas and company vehicles Complete service tickets, notes, and documentation daily Communicate job status and updates with dispatch Recommend repairs or upgrades when appropriate Install Sanitary system piping Domestic water lines Gas piping systems Plumbing trim (fixtures, faucets, toilets, etc.) Water heater Hydronic heating system piping Qualifications 4+ years of plumbing experience (service and/or installation) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 25+ lbs and work in various conditions Preferred (Not Required) Experience in both service and new construction plumbing HVAC knowledge or willingness to cross-train Experience working in high-end residential homes Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Paid time off & holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement Year-round steady work Schedule Monday-Friday Occasional Saturdays On-call rotation (additional compensation) Why Join Mulco?
