Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, and working on various construction sites. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Plumber will also utilize a range of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete projects efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential buildings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing projects accurately Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks using specialized tools and equipment Conduct remodeling projects involving plumbing components and related carpentry work Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely to complete installations and repairs Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for project completion Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC technicians or carpenters during remodeling or construction projects Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used Skills Proven experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and remodeling projects Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC integration Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and assembly processes Ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations Construction site experience with adherence to safety standards Carpentry skills beneficial for remodeling projects Commercial driving license preferred for transporting materials or equipment as needed Maintenance Person experience useful for versatile maintenance tasks This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise in plumbing combined with construction skills.
