Duties Manage incoming service requests via multi-line phone systems and online platforms, ensuring prompt and professional communication with customers. Schedule plumbing appointments by coordinating technician availability, parts inventory, and customer preferences using transportation management systems like Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine. GPS, GIS

(Geographic Information Systems), and transportation planning tools to optimize routing and dispatching of plumbing technicians across multiple locations. Track and update dispatch logs, freight movements, and shipping & receiving records with accuracy through data entry in AS400 or similar systems. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials needed for scheduled jobs. Monitor fleet management systems to assign appropriate vehicles for each service call, maintaining efficient transportation management practices. Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle customer inquiries professionally while managing multiple priorities seamlessly. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching within logistics, transportation management, or plumbing service environments. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data from GIS, GPS, and transportation management systems for effective decision-making. Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, or AS400 platforms is highly desirable. Knowledge of freight logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management principles. Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers and team members alike. Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and multi-line phone systems to handle high-volume calls efficiently.
