Plumbing Project Manager/Estimator

Job Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Estimating/Project Manager for Plumbing. This role is responsible for estimating commercial plumbing projects, managing awarded jobs from pre-construction through closeout, coordinating field operations, maintaining budgets and schedules, and ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, construction processes, estimating software, subcontractor/vendor coordination, and project management practices. Estimating Duties Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents Prepare accurate and competitive plumbing estimates for commercial projects Perform material takeoffs and labor calculations Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Develop detailed bid proposals and scope clarifications Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed Maintain estimating database and historical cost information Project Management Duties Manage multiple commercial plumbing projects simultaneously Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, and field personnel Develop project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans Track project costs, labor productivity, and change orders Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Conduct project meetings and maintain project documentation Support field teams with technical and logistical needs Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation Qualifications Minimum 5+ years experience in commercial plumbing estimating and/or project management Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Experience with estimating and project management software Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects effectively Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite This position comes with benefits - including half of your health insurance paid, all of your vision and dental insurance paid, paid time off, and vacation pay. •Pay Range is based on Resume & Experience. •FastPipe Experience
