Pool and Hot Tub Service Technician

Duties Conduct regular inspections of pools and hot tubs to assess water quality, equipment condition, and overall cleanliness. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, balancing chemicals, and adjusting water levels. Diagnose and repair equipment issues including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and circulation systems using hand tools and power tools. Install new pool components or hot tub accessories following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed and recommendations for future maintenance. Respond promptly to service calls for emergency repairs or troubleshooting issues reported by clients. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices to promote a safe working environment. Skills Ability to use YouTube videos and AI prompts to learn pool and hot tub maintenance and repair Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pool and hot tub equipment. Experience with pool maintenance tasks such as chemical balancing, cleaning, and water testing. Proficiency in using hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers) and power tools for equipment repair and installation. Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and filter servicing. Prior experience as a service technician or in a related maintenance role is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams related to pool systems. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
